We don't ask you to sign in. We don't create an account for you. We don't keep a database of your check-ins. We don't sell or share your information with advertisers. Affiliate links are disclosed on the page where they appear.
A few things do happen behind the scenes — mostly to make the app work and to be honest about it. The details are below.

What you type into the app. When you submit a check-in, the text and your selected pill (if any) are sent to our server so we can ask you a few follow-up questions and generate a response. We do not save that text to a database or associate it with any account or device identifier.
No account, no login, no tracking pixels. The app does not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Mixpanel, or any other advertising or behavioral tracking SDK.
No cookies of our own. The app is stateless. Your check-in lives in your browser's memory while you use it and goes away when you close the tab.
Anthropic (Claude). The questions and insights you see are generated by Anthropic's Claude AI. When you submit a check-in, the text is sent to Anthropic via their API. Per Anthropic's standard policy, they may retain API inputs for up to 30 days for trust-and-safety purposes and then delete them. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train their models by default. We don't review, share, or re-use what's sent to them. See Anthropic's privacy policy for details.
Vercel. The app is hosted on Vercel. Vercel automatically logs basic operational data (timestamps, status codes, error traces) for infrastructure reliability. These logs may incidentally include fragments of request data if an error occurs, but we do not use these logs for analytics or profiling. See Vercel's privacy policy.
Amazon. When you tap a product link, you are taken to Amazon. Amazon has its own privacy practices. We earn a small commission on qualifying purchases as part of the Amazon Associates program (affiliate tag: ifeellike0b-20). It does not cost you anything extra.
Some links in the app are affiliate links. When you click one and buy something on Amazon, we may earn a small commission. This is how we support the app. We don't recommend products we wouldn't suggest to a friend, and recommendations are shown for informational reasons — never as medical advice.
The app is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the app in a way that transmitted information to us, email us and we'll confirm the stateless architecture and help however we can.
Because we don't store your check-ins or create an account for you, there's generally no personal record for us to access, correct, or delete. If you'd like confirmation of this or have any privacy question, email helloifeellike@gmail.com.
Residents of California, the EU, and other jurisdictions with specific privacy rights may have additional entitlements under laws like the CCPA or GDPR. Reach out to us and we'll do our best to help.
